5 ½ cups Cucumbers
1 ½ tbsp Pickling Salt
1 cup White Sugar
1 cup Vinegar
½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
⅛ tsp Ground Turmeric
½ tsp Celery Seeds

Combine the cucumbers and salt and cover and chill 1 1/2 hours. Then move cucumbers into a colander and rinse thoroughly. Drain well
Combine the sugar and the remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Pour the hot mixture over the cucumbers. Let stand at room temp for 1 hour. Cover in airtight container and refrigerate
If canning then process in hot water bath for 8 minutes for quarts
