Stewed Tomatoes

Get a large pan of hot water boiling. Drop clean whole tomatoes in water for a few minutes then scoop them out. Skin should just peel off. Cut core out and then quarter, not diced. Then put in sterilized jars. Add 2 T lemon juice to the bottom of each quart jar. 1 t salt on the top of each quart. Process at 10 lbs for 10 minutes
